Weekly Photo Challenge: Create

Chapultepec Park, Mexico City

I was wandering in Chapultepec Park in Mexico City when I found this communitarian graffiti, a sum of individual graffitis made by different people on an enormous tree. I wonder how many people at different times on different days have been writing on this tree, following one another other to complete this creation over nature.

  1. Man’s art and freedom of expression with nature’s innate beauty together crates a unique, timeless masterpiece. Did you you write your story on it as well. It’ll be cool to see your contribution forever engraved. Beautiful post.

    • I agree. I didn’t write anything there because finding that graffiti was a surprise, so I didn’t have a tool for it, but I will do it this days 😉

  2. Wouldn’t it be great to know the story behind each person and the date the first one was carved! Wonderful shot that leaves so much to the imagination, past, present and future:>) Thank you for sharing!

    • Yes catnip! It would be great to know the stories of each person behind the carving and if each inscription is very distant in time from each other. I wondered and imagined a lot of things when I saw this communitarian graffiti.Thank you for the comment.
      Kind greetings,
