Weekly Photo Challenge: Escape “Venice Beach Views & The Doors”

Because Ray Manzarek of The Doors died yesterday Monday, today I feel I want to post this photos I took in Venice Beach. One of the exiting feelings for me about going to visit Venice Beach was precisely to know that the members of The Doors lived there, this made me feel curious about the place. This is where all happened, the beginning.

Tomorrow

will be a better day

These days have been difficult for me, fortunately I have a really good friend. He is my best friend not only because we have fun or we do things together that we both enjoy, but because he always listens to me when I’m going through hard situations. In times like these, he gives me good advices, or maybe he only listens to me and gives me his points of view, and these situations always make me feel better. So yesterday, I called him to talk about the things that were upsetting me, and then I felt some relief. Today I feel hopeful, and I wanted to post a photo to reflect that feeling. Even when things don’t go well as we expected, and sometimes we find difficulties through a day or our life, we can be sure that tomorrow will always be a better day. For me, this foggy sunset represents the end of the day but also the incoming day that could be better. It also makes me remember that we can always see the bright side of our lives by focusing our interest in the amazing things that exists in our daily life, like the colorful sunsets and close relationships.

Valladolid

Valladolid, Yucatán-Mexico
Valladolid, Yucatán-Mexico

The City of Valladolid is located at the State of Yucatan in Mexico. It is very near to the touristic City of Cancun (about one hour and a half by bus), so if you will travel to Cancun you can visit the place in a single day from early in the morning, like I did, or maybe more days.

Valladolid was founded in 1543, and its colorful streets with Colonial architecture buildings and houses painted in a great variety of lively colors; the impressive architecture of the former Convent of San Bernardino de Siena constructed in the XVI century  (I will post photos later), and other interesting historical churches, as well as its regional cuisine, make this City an attractive place to visit.
