I took these photos inside the Metropolitan Cathedral of Buenos Aires, Argentina which is located in front of Plaza de Mayo.

The construction of the Cathedral was started in the eighteenth century and was only able to be completed in early twentieth century, for this reason you can find different architectural styles going  from baroque to romanesque elements.

  1. great architecture in Buenos Aires, old and modern! My daughter, an architect, was there. I remember an elephant in the Zoo (one of her pictures) – and in the background skyscrapers of glass. Big contrast.
