Solitude is a powerful feeling of fullness.

Solitude expresses the glory of being alone.

Solitude plays the part in creative process.

Solitude, in short, is when one is happy to be alone!

Graffiti around the world: Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil

Graffiti of the month (August)

I know is September but I forgot to post the graffiti of the past month, August, as part of my photography series. As I previously stated: “I decided to post a photograph of a graffiti on the last Friday of the month, until the end of the year”.

So here it is. I found this graffiti during a travel to South America, shortly after I crossed by car the Friendship’s Bridge that connects Ciudad del Este, Paraguay to Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. It was painted on the wall of a bridge located in Brazil.

I loved the colors of this vibrant bird with its sleepy curious eye. Tell me your opinion. Do you like it?

(Motorcycle) TAXI!

During my travel to South America, while crossing by car the International Bridge “Puente de la Amistad”, or Friendship’s Bridge, I saw some very curious taxis. The MOTO TAXI.

The “Puente de la Amistad” is located over the Parana river, and it communicates the Cities of Foz do Iguaçu, in Brazil, and Ciudad del Este, in Paraguay. In this area is located what is known as the “Triple Frontera”, or Triple Frontier, because the Countries of Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil contact here.

Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, is known  for being a free trade zone, so a lot of people from Brazil, Argentina and other cities of Paraguay visit this City to go shopping. A friend that lives in Paraguay since three years ago, told me that some people from Brazil and Paraguay usually cross the Friendship’s Bridge by foot to go shopping or to do other activities, and they go back to their Cities in the same day, sometimes using the Moto Taxi. So we saw some people on the moto taxi sitting behind the driver, carrying big bags of merchandise at the sides. The curious situation is that they use these moto taxis only to cross the bridge, the moto taxis don’t drive further.

You can see narrow lanes for the moto taxis located along the Friendship’s Bridge, aside of the car lanes.
