Weekly Photo Challenge: The Hue of You

Valladolid, Yucatan-Mexico

Valladolid, Yucatan-Mexico

Although my favorite color is blue, I liked the warm and energetic color of this facade I located in Valladolid, a colorful mexican city founded in May 28, 1543, in the State of Yucatan.

For me, the lively yellow color with the contrasting immaculate white details of the window, convey a sense of happiness.

  1. Very good capture. Love the colors.

One suggestion, if you are up for it when composing an image? I would have moved, pushed together the flower pots, and cropped out the white frame on the right and the thin white strip on the left.

    Thanks for sharing.

    • Thank you Rick for the advise. I must confess I don’t know anything about editing images. I’m new to digital photography, so I use my DSLR camera as I use my Canon Tx SLR, without manipulation or composing the images after taking the photo, and of course I could’t move the pots of a stranger’s house, 😀 but I think I could have move around more to try another composition. Out of curiosity, how much time is spent in composing a picture at the computer? Is it easy to do?
Maybe it would be a good idea to learn photoshop.
      Kind greetings,
      Marianne
