The author of this sculpture is Jorge Jimenez Deredia, a Costa Rican architect and sculptor. His work is currently in exhibition at different points in Mexico City’s Downtown, with the general title “A Genesis For Peace”

  1. I can’t seem to interpret the artwork… except for its protectiveness…. I guess to the planet ( the big ball being planet Earth.

    • Hi Rommel! The piece of the photo is only one part of the sculpture, I will post another photo that includes all the sculpture (formed by various sculptures) so you can see that it represents an evolving process, or an evolution, that finishes with the sculpture of this photo. I think that’s the reason of the name “genesis”
